• If an item fits the criteria for more than one of the fees below, then multiple fees may apply.
• When a single direction of travel includes multiple flights for which different baggage fees would apply, the higher baggage fee will be charged.
• For fee information relating to travel wholly within Asia, please contact United Reservations at 1-800-UNITED-1 (1-800-864-8331) within the U.S., or from outside the U.S. call your local reservations office.
• Conversion rates are subject to change.
• Additional exemptions may apply for: travel within the U.S. and Canada or international travel.
• Airport authorities in some cities strictly limit checked baggage to 70 pounds (32 kg) per item. Any piece of checked baggage exceeding the 70-pound limit must be repackaged into smaller units. Please review our overweight baggage information.

**For snow/water skiing and snowboarding equipment, prices shown are for second or additional sets. First set is considered checked bag equivalent. For vaulting poles, the fee is per pole. For luge boards, surfboards and wakeboards, the fee is per board.
^†For travel from the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico & the U.S. Virgin Islands to Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America, each excess baggage fee is 150 USD/CAD.
^††For travel from Brazil, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America to Asia and Europe, each excess baggage fee is 200 USD.
